Holy Deer, Rome
There can’t be many places where you can sleep in a room that was home to a pope (as well as his alleged mistress, Olimpia) and where there is a tunnel leading to the Vatican. The Holy Deer, on Piazza Navona, was part of a palace owned in the 17th century by Pope Innocent X’s family.
